Hello Giga users!

I just purchased the RME 96/52 audio card for ADAT optical outputs. I already have the Wamirack 24 by egosys that handles analog outputs and also Midi.
I have read conflicting reports on using 2 GSIF cards on the same giga DAW in a previous thread...
What is the story on that issue??
Should I attempt to install the RME card or should I return it??

Giga can only output to one sound card at a time.

Some sound card manufacturers have drivers that allow multipul cards to be joined together as if they are one card (the Delta series for instance).

There you go! Get rid of the Wamirack.

Thanks for the tips..

One thing though, could I use the Wamirack for midi and have the audio routed through the RME card??

thanks again!

Yes. Giga will see all available MIDI ports.

I have a RME and a Wave Center PCI card on my Giga machine and use the Wave Center for midi and the RME for audio. Solid as a rock!
