Is Firewire HD Adequate for GigaStudio ???

Hi Gang,

Has anyone tried GigaStudio with the samples on an external Firewire hard drive? Conclusions?

I just installed a Adaptec Fire connect + card into my SoundChaser PC with XP home edition installed. I have a Lacie 120 gig drive hooked up to it with Giga samples and it\'s been working fine upon initial testing.
I haven\'t done any extensive tests but it looks promising.
