Amplifier Modulation by Midi CC - Manual gives no explanation...

...of what the second editable number is. If I add a modulator and choose midi CC as the source, 2 fields appear adjacent. The first is quite clearly the Midi CC itself (and is adjustable from 1-127 even though the manual says 0-121). The second, however, has a starting value of 0 and has a selectable range of -1 to 100. The manual mentions the first number but not the second!

What does this number do? So far, I can't hear it doing anything! I've spent the last hour searching the manual because I don't like not understanding what choices are available to me. With NIs non-standard interface they should really consider context-sensitive help (like Altiverb).

It seems to be the initial value which will be active until the first the CC message arrives. However, it is a bit buggy. For example it's not affected by modulation rescalings.

But why would its range be -1 to 100 ?

I'm not finding setting it is having an effect. Do you?
