GIGA on a PC with a MAC

I am on a Mac and I am thinking of
buying a PC to run giga.
My question for you guys is:
Can I do this without using an external
mixer, or will the delay be a pain in the
*** .
Please let me know if you are running a giga
pc to mac setup are you happy with this settup?
