I am looking to purchased a new soundcard for my 2nd GS PC. I had thought to buy one with an ADAT lightpipe digital out so that I could transfer 8 digital channels to a adat equipped digital mixer. The questions:
1) Will GS recognize the ADAT as 8 discrete channels and allow output in this fashion?
2) Should I anticipate any sync problems at the mixer with my existing PC which has 8 analog & 2 SPDIF ports?
3) Any suggestions on the Soundscard to purchase

I just set this up the other day using the Hammerfall HDSP 9652 with no real problems. The Hammerfall card has word clock in and the best way is to sync all your digital devices via a common clock if possible.

Echo Layla24 works well with this.
