Hi all,
I have 3 sampler PCs connected to my DAW using Adat lightpipes, running them as Adat-synced slaves.
I have not yet found any conclusive information on the web if additionally connecting them to a Word-clock network will provide me with any (audible) improvement.
Theoretically the Adat-sync seems sufficient to me, however I also read a lot of suggestions to use Word Clock anyhow, without explaining the practical differences with Adat-sync.
