This summer I will be moving to Miami and starting my 3 years toward getting my DMA in Music Composition at the University of Miami! I am working on my Thesis piece for my Master's degree right now... actually the piece is done I am writing the paper right now... sigh.
I just thought I would give those that remembered me from my more frequent posting days a status update. haha
If you guys are interested in hearing my thesis piece, I am about to upload updated mp3s of it and they will be accessable in the link in my sig.

Jess

PS... If anyone knows who is in charge of the demo section, they have me listed as "Jesse"! I am honored to be on it, but if they could sans the 'e' I would be MOST grateful!:wow:

PSS... Although the first movement uses a pitch set for its composition, I think the people into the more tonal music might enjoy it as I was attempting to write something more accessible. :)

Jess,

Hey man, good to hear from you. Good luck on the DMA. I'm about to start the process of applying to CCM (Cincinatti Conservatory of Music) to get my PHD. I just have to build up the courage! :-D

Good luck. I can't wait to hear your thesis.

Jonny

The Distinguished Dr. Jess,

Congratulations on the start of your doctoral studies. This should be quite an experience (but how are you ever doing to study in Miami with South Beach and the party scene there).:|:

I wish you success with your studies and looking forward to calling you Doctor in just a few years.

Gary Garritan

PS: We'll be updating the mp3 page and will make the coorection as soon as we can

Fortunately for my studies, the cost of living there will likely ease up my partying ability! haha
