Soundcard w/optical & w.clock recommendation?

Any ideas or opinions on a certain soundcard for PC/GIGA that has word clock and optical?

Anything would be great. Possibly under the $1000 mark

Well heck for under a grand you can\'t beat the RME Hammerfall series. Lowest latency and the best drivers in the business. At a grand you can get one with a break out box with with a variety of connectors. I\'ve had their lesser model (DIG 96/8 PST) for several years and it\'s been solid as a rock with not one problem. Cards from two other well known manufacturers have not been so good to me. RME is a bit pricier than other manufacturers, but ya gets what yuz pays for. Here\'s a link for more info.

You might check out Aardvark. It seems some people have had problems with it but for me it\'s been smooth as silk.
