How important is Midi Aftertouch?

I was wondering if anyone could comment on the importance of having aftertouch on a midi keyboard controller with use in Giga. I am considering buying a new controller and not everyone offers this feature.

Hi Homey!!

For most Giga libraries, aftertouch isn\'t used. However, some really use it well. I think it\'s worth having personally. If you get into other software synths, you\'ll find lots of use for aftertouch.

Maybe you already got your keyboard, if not think that you can assigne the aftertouch to the modwheel. You can do this in cubase, or some keyboards can do it. I got a very cheap evolution mk-361 and it can do it (is code 131).
