Opinions on Freehandsystems?

This looks very practical but I'd first like to know if there are any pianists out there who are using Freehand, and thoughts on it? Thanks.

I haven't used it or heard of it before. However, I'm tempted to believe that for $900 you could get a decent laptop that could perform more functions than displaying music. You could also run Acrobat reader on it and maybe rig up a way to go from page to page with some sort of footswitch.

Also, it looks like if you go with this MusicPad you are locked into using proprietary format scores, which of course they are not giving away. But, if money is no object well then...
