I've seen that and it is awesome!
You know that cat knows it is responsible for the sound.
Very cool.

Let's make that the theme for next Challenge...
Wow, amazing kitty. She looks like she is learning which keys make which notes and how to play soft or loud. I want to hear this cat in about a year. This may be the key to making money now in music, have Nora perform it. Now she needs to start learning how to read music, someone needs to make a new music font just for for her, with little mice for the noteheads.

I think the piece she is playing is "The thoughts of a cat", by Quentin Blake. :)
Or maybe it's "Carthago delena est" by Cato. :D

Ho, Hum!
Just one more "proof" being offered to support the First Law of Feline Geometry:
"A cat draws a straight line to the center of attention."

I'm so jealous of that cat, it can play so much better than I can...

There's a classic ragtime piece by somebody or other entitled "Kitten on the Keys".
I had a friend in college who played stride and ragtime, and who had a 14-foot Burmese python in his home. Once while we were in his room his python slithered obliquely across a few of the keys on his Yamaha KX-88 MIDI controller, triggering a few notes. So I suggested that my friend should compose a piece called "Python on the Keys."
My sick sense of humor immediately suggested a third movement for the trilogy, "Python on the Kitten."
I hate cats.

The sequel is hopefully the cat recording her performances into the Garritan Drag 'n' Drop software, but, so far, the mouse doesn't last long enough.
Btw, "Kitten on the Keys" by Zez Confrey... great ragtime piece, somewhat reminiscent of Debussy's "Golliwog's Cakewalk".

Just turn down the mouse sensitivity.
That'll do the trick.
