Hi all, I have just done an ambient piece without drums and it is the first of it's kind that I have done and would like to know everyones honest thoughts.
Mix may need a tweak, as I have not listened to it with fresh ears.
Done entirely in Spectrasonics Atmosphere...
The track is called Drifting clouds

Many thanks for listening.

Can you link directly to the mp3?
You'll get much more feedback if the track is easy to find and I couldn't find it.

Hi Steve,
Sorry, but I have the Wimpy player and as far as I know I can no longer direct link. I should have said however that it is in New compositions and is the fourth one down.
Sorry for not making it easy and missing some instructions

I have tweaked and adjusted the mix today and reposted a new version.

Thank you pingu,
Since posting I sneakily did some changes as I heard a couple of things that I didn't like.
I am glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for listening

Simon,
It sounds very fine indeed. It has a sort of new age feeling, which works very fine for me. Such a calm sensation. I don't think that I could ever make this kind of clamness in my music.
So kudos to you for that... :)

Hi Nikolas,
Strange as it may seem, I found it quite hard to do this as it has no drums and as I start by building the rhythm section, this was a new thing for me and I like a challenge!
In this piece I completed 2 aims one to use just one synth to create a piece of music and the other was to get a very ambient track without drums.
Thank you for listening. and thanks for the kind words.
