Hello,

I'm still writing a Flamenco style piece. *() Anyone knows of Flamenco related heel stomps as samples?

Well, actually I'm recording handclaps, but I don't see any way to record heel stomps because the lack of tight shoes and wooden floor.

Any hints?

For this short piece I got away with "el cheapo" Prosamples 46: http://www.mathis-nitschke.com/mp3/Flamenco_Tribe_V2.mp3

Zero-Gs world pack comes in Apple Loops and Acid Wavs, this is great for vocals too.

There are some stomps (not necessarily Flamenco) in the GTown sample pack(s). These have the church ambience in the file, so might not be suitable for all applications, but check legaltorrents.com for the torrent file.

There were (may still be) some free stomps from ProjectSam as well.

cheers,

I think that normal stomps wont work if you are looking for flamenco sound. Flamenco dancers use a special kind of shoes and make different sounds depending of what part of the shoe is hitting the dance floor.

You might consider the new East West library Gypsy. If I'm not mistaken, it has "flemenco" stomps, etc. as well as a new solo violin, guitars, solo trombone, etc. Unfortunately, they have still not posted any demos. They should be up shortly since they are planning on releasing it in May. Hope this helps.

Gypsy isn't out as yet.

Right, that's what I said. Gypsy will be released in May. It should be out pretty soon so the poster might want to consider this library. That is all.

:(. Apparently I need to read the complete sentence before I respond.
sorry about that.
I however will not be suprised if may gets pushed.

Check out the ProjectSAM freebies.

There are excellent free sounds and some stomps in there.
You will need to enter your email address, though.

Thank you all! :)

Good to know that there will be a new library, because Flamenco is great.

O.k., that makes sense. That reminds me why I've never used a guitar library.

The Zero-G World Pack has a ton of flamenco sounds in there -- lots of different stomps and a ton of guitars as well.
