I am about to set up my first audio set up and would appreciate advice from many of you experts on how to set up and test my audio gear/cables.
I am setting up a newly built DAW for recording and gigastudio, soundcard, midi interface, preamp and would like to know what advice any of you have on how to set things up properly/test that everything is in proper order. Are there a gamut of tests you guys do? Or do you just do your daily routine of work and eventually see if everything is in order?
This sounds like a simple question, but I don\'t have enough experience in the department to be entirely confident. images/icons/tongue.gif Thanks for the help.
