If you\'re using WinXP now you\'re out of luck, there is no GSIF driver for your Sb Live. Looks like you\'ll have to buy a new soundboard.

Install the VXD driver, it sounds like you might have installed the WDM driver.
This should be a direct link:

I am using an Sb live value card with GS 160 and for some reason it won\'t work, It worked fine on my old p3 500 MHZ pc, but with my new 2.4 GHZ celeron pc it is saying there is no soundcard that is compatible. Anyone know any installation tricks, or know of something I would need to download?

Perhaps for some reason the celeron processor is not compatible because I checked the minimum specs at the creative site and it said it required intel pentium or intel amd. When I installed this update my pc freezes like 5 minutes after I am on the pc.
