WARNING: Audiophile 2496 drivers

Beware of the latest drivers.. I\'ve had a lot of nasty crashes, thanks to these. images/icons/mad.gif images/icons/mad.gif images/icons/mad.gif

Which drivers should I get that are actually reliable??

EDIT : Ah nevermind, looks like they removed the older versions images/icons/frown.gif Now I\'m stuck with these drivers. I seriously am starting to hate this soundcard...

Thanks for the warning Sam, was about to order one but given past messages here I already was a bit hesitant.

I ordered the new terratec Phase 28 instead now, my old Terratec 24/96 is giving me troubles with VSL repetition performances (they crash my whole system, beh). Seems each card has their own little troubles. images/icons/wink.gif

Sam, try checking the box for beta drivers. That may bring up the old ones as well. I use an audiophile as well but am not seeing these crashing problems. Is that for one of your Giga machines or is it on the mac?
