Hi all,
I\'m going to getting a pro tools rig set up. I have not worked with pro tools before, and I wanted to know if there were any advantages/pitfalls in the choice of platform (PC or Mac)? Any advice you experienced pro tools users can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance...

There\'s more plug-in support on the Mac - for all PT systems - and one gets the feeling that the Mac version gets priority, since most people are using it.
But Windows machines are certainly cheaper, and you\'ll find lots of happy campers if you read the forum on Digidesign\'s site.

By the way, Digidesign went out of their way to tout how much there is for Pro Tools on Windows. Many of the good plug-ins are there.
So maybe my thinking is out of date.
