How to best represent KS'd notation

I'm wondering if there's a standard approach, when using KS instruments, to creating visually uncluttered notation? I use Overture and don't know if I should be assigning different articulations to different voices on the one stave, or actually separating the articulations out onto different staves. I'm not sure how to create scores that are both visually clear and yet be able to include all the necessary changes for the music to play properly.

And, as an extension of that, can the KS notes themselves be hidden?

The bundled Overture versions don't allow template creation of new articulations, as far as I've found, but there's a pretty simple workaround:

1. Insert any articulation (ex. pizz)
2. Double-click on it.
3. Change the name and font.
4. Adjust the keyswitch and playback properties.
5. Select, copy, and paste as needed.

I am actually running the latest vers.of Overture, not the old bundled vers., so the ability to tie in articulation notation to KS switches is brilliant news.

I'm just trying to develop a bit more sophistication to the way I tie the notation in with the VSTi's and so this is all very welcome advice.

Thanks MMOSC ... but alas, those vids seem to have gone to God. The domain is defunct.

If you are working with GPO you basically assign the proper instrument to each stave and you are done. Right-click to the beginning of the stave and from there work through the pop-up menu.
