Cubase SX2 : how to send midi start

Hi all,

I want to trigger the capture to wave in GS (on a dedicated box) from my SX2 machine.

I do not seem to find the place where I can send the MIDI start command from SX2.

I used to to record the GS tracks in SX2 via the ADAT soundcard inputs, but I am getting to many hickups lately ..

How do I do this ?

Hi, you have to go to the Transport menu > Sync Setup.

Under Send Midi Time Code and Send Midi Clock, check the the outputs for Giga.

You probably only have to choose one of the two Midi modes but I dont know which one Giga actually responds to. images/icons/smile.gif
