Concert and Marching band possible in Finale 2005 ?

All in the title.
I only have Finale 2005.
It works with GPO, I had to launch it as a stand alone, then in Finale, just assign the right midi channels.

It doesn't seem to work with CMB.

I believe that CMB will only work with Finale 2007 or 2008.

If you're going to be writing a lot of concert band music, take the leap and upgrade to 2008. There are many changes since 2005, and they'll be a bit of a learning curve for you, but all of the keyswitching available in this library is built into HP in this version of Finale.

I also would recommend upgrading because you can't beat the integration, human playback, and new features of 08. That said, you should be able to use 05 and CMB through the use of MIDI-Yoke (http://www.midiox.com), a virtual MIDI cable that will let you connect the output of finale to the input of the Kontakt Player 2 standalone.
