Trouble converting Akai to Giga files

HI,

I have some Akai sample CD ROMS and I have converted them to Giga files using CDextract and Chicken Systems Translator.
Both batches play back as if there is modulation applied to them. The strange thing is that some days they work fine and some days not.

Anyone ever hear of this? Any way to combat this or are the original samples just plain corrupted corrupted?

The samples are located on a removeable drive. There are other samples present that work fine.

Its the mod wheel. Some days it forward and some days not I bet. images/icons/smile.gif These converters tend to not turn off the default Mod wheel control of LFO so that can happen. Let us know if this solves it. It can be removed in the editor.
