Thanks for your UpToTheMinute info!

Some questions that came with the first breath…

Can you make the screen shots larger?

> New features and technologies like sequencers,
> synthesizers, additional effects plug-ins, and networking
> services may be purchased separately for Gigastudio.

Are these being released with GStudio? Developed by NemeSys or 3rd parties?

> dedicated MIDI input for realTime effect

Is this in addition to the 64 MIDI channels?

If NFX plugs work on other Direct-X applications, do other DX plugs work with GStudio?

Does GStudio have a different native instrument format, or still gig?

And of course, When?

And... as we have been discussing hardware:
what performance can be epxected from what hardware. Will GStudio need dedicated hardware.

Changed list of preferred audio cards?

What about sequencers: any specific level of integrations with any sequencer?

and indeed when?

I\'ll second the larger screenshot request!

Here\'s a question for ya:

Will my lowly 350Mhz PII be able to achieve 160 voices? I\'ve got an UW SCSI hard drive (IBM Ultrastar) and an Adaptec 2940UW card, but I\'m not sure if it\'s capable of that kind of thruput.

Giga studio sounds massively cool , but Im just kind conserned about a couple of issues that were mentioned above like will the effects be complete direct x compatable and work on any sequencer that supports Direct x , inturn can I use my current direct x plug in effects with giga studio , Also I was thinking of buying a 24 bit sound card in the not so near future with the giga drivers but I wanted to use my sound blaster live card for a while longer , will it still work with giga studio ?

Hello everyone myself and desound have just returned from Namm 2000. We have a lot of exciting news about gigastudio. We were fortunate to test it out ourselves. we also spoke to James Van buskirk president of Nemesys music and got detailed information about gigastudio. As for the picture we scanned that have been floating around the net, we will be updating these
shortly with more detailed screen shots.
