Hi Quantum,

long time no see... .

What`s about your real recordings? I remember that you was working on a music where real players were needed...?

Is it ready?

Everything has finally been scored out now, BUT my wife and I had an unexpected financial obligation come up recently. Now the live musician recording sessions will not take place until early January.

For my entire project, I will be using an 8 piece string ensemble, a bagpipe ensemble, a 20 piece choir, and 2 sopranos. Everything will set me back approximately 5k, but in the end I have no doubt that it will be worth it. My lead violinist is considered one of the top violinists in Las Vegas and my sopranos are the lead sopranos on one of the Las Vegas strip's most successful shows. I will definitely let you know when everything is complete.

bagpipes??? Last time I recorded a bagpipe, it was an experiment in terror... :) And then, there was the fun exercise to get it to play in tune with the track... And this was in the days of no digital recording, i.e. recording to tape... So it wasn't like we could just tweak the audio file... Keep that in mind, being that you're actually doing a whole ensemble of them...

Gunther,

These demos sound very good. Did you make the mastering yourself???

Best Regards

Andreas

Ya, I'll be interested to see if my bagpipe ensemble is worth the beer that I am paying them in. :D If it doesn't work out I will just use my Bela D Media Anthology and / or my EWQL Ra bagpipes.
