Stupid SAM Trombones question...

I\'ve got a dumb question.. what\'s the difference between the marcato B and the VEL Marcato B samples? I loaded up the editor and it seems the only difference is that the velocity layers are done differently. In the marcato B, it\'s done in the velocity box.. in the VEL Marcato B, it\'s done via layers. Oh, plus the VEL Marcatos seem louder. What\'s the difference?

The VEL programs are crossfading velocities, so they have smoother transitions. They do take up twice the polyphony though.

The other ones are normal velocity switching programs, with steps between the dynamic changes.
