Is'nt there any way to make the string sections in GPO sound smaller so to say... You know, sutible for your average chamber concerto. :confused:

You would need to build up the string section from solo instruments. The full string sections are recorded with a modern full size string section (14-1st Violins, 12-2nd Violins, 10-Violas, 8-Cellos, 6-DoubleBasses if I remember correctly).

Thank you Haydn. It served my long time question very well. I always wondered about the number of players in a section. Once I saw it, but thereafter never again.....
