Optimal Settings For GPO?

I was wondering what the optimal settings are for using GPO in with the KP2 player. I have a pretty good computer with 4 GB of memory, but was still a little confused as to which settings within the player would utilize my machine the best; such as DFD (Direct from disk), purging, and other sttings within the player itself.

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I couldn't find much on it for some reason. Anyway, I hope many others could benefit from these answers too.

The default settings with the 2.2.3 update should work fine. I don't believe DFD is used by many of the instruments.
