Logic 8 crashes

I just installed Logic Studio. The demo media files that come with Logic Pro 8 run OK, but whenever I click the Media or Browse tabs Logic crashes. I have updated all of my AUs and repaired my permissions, yet I just can't get it to run. I have quite a few AUs running, but I looked at the crash log and couldn't figure out what the problem is.

I am running OS 10.4.11 and Logic Pro 8.0.1

Any suggestions as to where I can troubleshoot or is there any help online anywhere?
