OT= Off Topic, I'm assuming RIP means Rest in Peace...that "Delete This: RIP" is honoring a long lived topic called "Delete This"

RTFM is nice, but I prefer the term PEBKAC. :D

I've never heard either of those... isn't there a website we can look all of these up on?

...haha, grammatical perfectionists cringe! A sentence ended with not 1, but 2 prepositions!

Have to admit I don't know these either, but from the picture I'm guessing that RTFM is an instruction given by developers to people who always turn to support for every tiny question....

RTFM means "Read the Fine Manual." Of course, the more common version of it uses a different word instead of Fine.

PEBKAC, on the other hand means "Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Chair." If you are on the line with tech support and hear them say something about a PEBKAC, they had probably just said that the problem was you. I've used the term PEBKAC numerous times when helping my friends out with computer trouble. :D

PEBKAC reminds me of one type of common error in the computer world: the "ID Ten T" error. Tell someone that they have just experienced an "ID Ten T" error. When they ask you what an "ID Ten T" error is, tell them to write it down...
