I have already the old Truan Steinway converted to Kontakt, although I never use it now. I too think it was a lovely sample which was lacking advanced programming.

The first version of the song sounded alot better; the release samples sounded natural, whereas in the second rendition the release of the low octave cut-off almost instantly and sounded very fake.

The first one sounded very good, though. . .natural and near perfection. I logged in after HOW many months of browsing just to compliment? Guess that means somethin'! :-)

Edit: I listened to it again, and the low-end of the piano sounded really compressed and unnatural. I'm sure this is a problem with the video compression on Dailymotion and/or the recording session for the samples themselves. Would we be able to hear an MP3 or OGG file of the piano part so that we could hear it with less compression?; We'd be able to give you a more accurate review, which is what you'd like in the first place.

But the Galaxy II Steinway already sounds perfect! lol Seriously. . .it sounds 100% realistic (no unnatural timber changes, no stretched notes, full resonance) and it compliments your playing style perfectly.

Even though it was a compressed video, I have a hard time believing anything can surpass that tone and playability from a sampled instrument.
