I know there is extension wich allows low C in contrabass i want know this extension how is work? and are C#,D,D# notes also allowed ? ja how rare this and B-string is? i think european B-string allos also C,C#,D,D# notes. why: String is string.

I can't comment on the B extension. Probably the same but 1/2 step lower.

There may be mechanical issues of string length and extension length that make the B extension unstable and/or difficult to use. I've never seen a B extension--only a C.

B note system is made addinational string (5th) i know. Is used in europe when c extension used in america. says my book called:
Essential Dictionary of Orchestration
