Hey folks - back when I was doing a review of the DTS encoder for Nuendo, I checked out a few commercial titles that were mixed in several surround formats - but none were orchestral.
I'm starting to play with a new reverb unit (RaySpace) and am playing with mixing in the "dry" and wet signal while trying to preserve some form of proper balance.
Can anyone recommend a good orchestral recording in 5.1? It can be in DVD-Audio or DTS/Dolby as the case may be. Extra points for anyone that can point me to a recording the includes antiphonal instruments, such as brass or rear registers of a pipe organ.
When Tower Music was in business, they had a few cases stocked with surround and hi-res audio titles that might have fit the bill, but I'm somewhat left without a place to look (at least that I know of).
Thanks!
