Heretofor and forthwith:

The US gum-mint is going to send money in the mail. The expressed desire is that we spend it. This implies there is something to spend it on. Garritan is one of those who makes stuff to spend it on.

Will Garritan have something new/special/ enticing and desireable to attract our spending? Something like an available ARIA? And, perhaps GPOA? Maybe even GOS 2. Is Garritan up to it? Can he jump start the US economy? Can he do it by Valentine's Day? Can he retain the prized status of amateur sweetheart? Does he have the musical heart? Is his musical candy producibility as good as his promisory bon-bons?

OOoooooh the pressure!

Will he be OUR valentine?

Are all these just Cupid remarks or will the arrow of Garritan marketing penetrate the heart of wanton expectations?

The check is in the mail...

While the gub'ment is handing out moolah, I think
they should subsidize Garritan the same way they
do the oil companies.

For instance, what about a sample "depletion
allowance"? After all, just like oil, samples are a
non-renewable resource.

Everybody call your congressman. (Exactly what
you call them is up to you.)

My Dearest Jamiha,

Your eyes glow as they gaze upon GPOA,
and desire blossoms as the rose in the purest hope of spring.
Your heart follows its golden sounds
and leaps when it hears the whisper of its name.
:heart::heart::heart:
Twilight floats in on cloud of wanting.
You are comforted by the ARIA engine of desire
GOS2 is gently calling to its love
which you will caress and hold next to your heart.
:heart::heart::heart:
You are filled with the hope that
the realization of your desire may dry the tears of yearning.
In the quiet, you listen for the last palpitation of the day.
And you wait in the moonlight for your secret library of love.

Far better to wax in the promise
of poetic thought
. . . to live with that oft fickle lover
Hope
than to wane in the dregs
of unrequited desires
and the slag of fractured
Expectations

(Bartender, give me another shot of that Aria, will ya? Nah, those weren't my kontakt lenses I just stomped on . . . I just dropped my keys . . . or somethin'.)

Alack and alas,
more picture and word,
music as visual?
Too terribly absurd.

Where's the software,
the guts of the thing
driving digits to sound,
forcing numbers to sing

the power of kilo-
hertzing the wave
and early reflections
of sweetness to save,

the sound of samplers
to store and retrieve
at speeds so astounding
it's hard to believe?

And what of the sequencer's
subtle swift shifting
while pulsing precision
to keep one from drifting

and Re - Verb - eration,
what really IS that?
Surely not meant
to mean re-word a chat.

Send me an Aria engine
that's built
to integrate all
from the top to the hilt.

Aria, GOS too,
AND GPOA
I'm not talking later,
by Valentine's day.

Bravo, Jamiha!

I support that wish! With but a hint that this were to be so, I would stop eating tonight and add my food budget to my Aria (etc.) budget.

Dearest Tony

Before Valentines Day 2009 you will have your heart's desire

What's this I see?
Garritan committing to a date on GPOA, GOS2 and ARIA.

By 2009 Valentine's Day, forsooth he says...

But Gary, O man of infinite bestowals,
WHICH 2009 do you mean???

Anno Domini, Anno Hegirae, or is there some other calendar driving your prognostications? Hmm?

<Drooooool>

Funny, I didn't have enough drool on the last message as I got an error that the message was too short.

I was happy to drool more.
