Gofriller sounds strange on several notes

I recently purchased the Gofriller cello and for the most part have been happy with the instrument and how it sounds in my mixes. However, I've noticed that several of the notes sound thin and not at all normal, in particular A3 and A#3. In fact, the volume level falls off significantly, as does the quality of the sound. I've tried eq'ing to compensate with no luck. Does anyone have an idea what might be happening?

A likely reason for lack of response from others may be that,like me, they cannot reproduce the problem you are experiencing on their Gofriller. So, sorry but can't help.
