My ordering of GPO will arrive tomorrow [doing silly victory-dance] and I just want to know what to do when I get it. :D
I have already the Finale verision and KP2 (which both were included in the finale 08) so here's what I'm wondering:

does it matter where I install GPO?
The KP that comes with the ordered GPO (2nd ed) has to be updated to KP2, should I get rid of the KP I've got from Finale before installing?
anything to watch out of? :wow: Silly question, but what's the nightmare scenario? :D
no further questions, good day to thee.

My main recommendation is to install the GPO application on the OS hard drive and the GPO library on a drive other than your OS drive. This separates library streaming from the drive being used to run your operating system and applications.

You can tweak your OS to better run audio applications, but I don't know what OS you are running. Post your system specs and others may chime in also.

Enjoy GPO!

Folks, if this is true, I need to move my library files. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to make this work after everything is installed? I have a raid 0 array onto which I could load the library files. I have: GPO, JABB, COMB and the Strad. I hope this means that I won't have to uninstall and reinstall everything - hopefully there is a configuration option to point to the appropriate directories.

Thanks so much in advance!

Yup, it's easy. Find the folder in your filesystem marked GPO Library. Inside there will be three nks files. These are the samples. Move this folder to the drive/location of your choosing. When you start GPO in KP2 click on the Info button. You will be able to specify the new location for the samples.
