Well, you could clean out the garage. No? Organize your piano scores? How about some new sheet music?

Check out this list of links (http://altrove.de/imslp/othersites.html) to mostly free sheet music. Lots of piano scores here. IMSLP is still down but, they are providing this list of sites.

I couldn't stand the wait either so I decided to fix up me basement. After all the hammering, measuring, cutting, lifting and positioning two b fourz and drywall (Sheetrock) the new mold resistant type, and screwing it in place ... I don't think I'll have any fingers left to twinkle any ivory any time soon. But, Yet, however, whatever, whenever, whomever, whyever, choppedliver, ham sammitch a cup a joe and a toollabox. I'll have one heck of a nice place for the kids to ruin later on. :D

What I do in the meantime? Praying for more money and saving every penny... you know.

As soon as I'm done with my current project (soon!) I'll get back to a set of piano etudes I was writing. I was planning on this anyway, but having the Steinway soon will make it even more fun.

Things to do while waiting....

1) Keep clicking on the big round "order now" button, hoping this time it let's you buy it.

2) Ponder the meaning of the word "Imminent"

3) Play yourself a sad, moving song of waiting on your Garritan Strad.

4) Take comefort that you at least have your copy of Real Spaces.

5) In seriousness, remember that all too often products are just pooped out there to make a buck, and that Garritan libraries by contrast are always first class, generously priced, and well worth the wait. Even if it takes until 2009, I know it will be fantastic.

Get a big box of matches, light them one by one, and watch them burn down. ;)

Ouch!

Bill,

Excellent resource. I still miss IMSLP but this list of links has many good gems.

Things to do while waiting for Garritan Authorized Steinway?

Keep calling the bookbinders and packagers and asking how much longer is it going to take to get our shipments.

Perhaps we can start taking orders soon.

They are too busy Gary supplying your mate on Ebay to give you any copies :D

Playing around with me new equipment and Samplitude with GPO! Although, I am getting impatient waiting for the studio to be completed at our store and may open the Mac and DP5 and start playing with that as well!
My wife thinks I am playing too much. She says she'll leave me if I don't slack off. God, I'm going to miss her! :D Only kidding. :)

Last time I had to wait this long for anything is when my date said she was going for popcorn at the drive inn. :D
