I would love to have a percussion library that has, in addition to individual \"hits\", a bank or two of short dramatic \"gestures\" like fast bd and cymbal crescendo/rolls into a hit. Do any of the current libraries have this?

UOP has what you\'re talking about, so I\'d guess LOP has as well.

Indeed, but ofcourse all instruments are seperate. You got your short phrases, but seperate bassdrum and cymbal phrases.
If you want complete orchestrated (percussion) phrases, check out play-and-burn libraries like \"Symphonic Adventures\" and \"Symphonic Colours\".

Thanks for the feedback. What is the difference between LOP and UOP?

Same guys did both.
LOP is the more recent.
Donnie would be able to explain the difference in terms of instruments and articulations covered.
My guess is that if they sampled the same gear a second time, they\'re only going to be doing a better job, right?
