I'm am transferring over GOS lite (less filling sounds great) to another PC to work with in Samplitude. If memory serves me correctly, I have to have Kontakt player installed as well to run GOS lite, right?
Any insight will be grateful.

I don't think so, Styxx.
GOS was just a giga/K2 library, right?

Hmm, you are probably right. It's been a long time since I've used GOS light and Kontakt. Kontakt 2 never really worked for me but kontact 1 did no matter what. Most likely my inexperience and ability to adapt.
GOS is a giga or akai library, but some have converted it to Kontakt. Fred Holmes did it for GOS and was kind enough to give me the nki files, I don't know if he did the gos lite or whether his will work with the lite version. PM him and I'msure he will tell you. A very generous person.

PaulYes, if I recall correctly he helped me convert for Kontakt 1 at the time. Kontakt 2 must be a whole other ball game.
