Okay, I stopped working on a project for what I thought would be only 30mins or so to find some shakers for it. Here I am 3hrs later feeling like I\'ve searched the entire web for a decent set of inexpensive shakers and cannot find anything either purchasable or free. If anyone could help me out here I\'d very much appreciate it.

I wonder what a jar of M&M\'s would sound like drenched in verb... Hrmn...

Take an empty beer or pop can, dry it out really well on the inside, add some old fashioned rice and seal it up. Do not use minute rice... minute rice is too soft. You could also use BB\'s for a louder sound. This method makes for excellent shakers.

Hope this helps,

Kip

Try this.

Also, you could try using the egg from panty hose, filling it with rice. I\'ve heard it works well.
