Having changed computers or at least several hard drives SEVERAL TIMES, I find myself missing a really nifty orchestral instrument range chart that I used to have - A few years back.

I believe it was created in Sibelius, and it was CRAMMED with information all on ONE PAGE....

Anybody know what I am talking about?

It was organized into four columns:
Instrument Ranges, Timbral Characteristics, Dynamic Curves and Additional Comments.

THAT is the one!!!

Thank you so much. I am doing some transcription work for a guy who is primarily a pianist, but who is writing a piece for piano and clarinet - I wanted to have something to give to him so he could not only understand the ranges involved, but also the characteristics.

Thanks a million.

Jerry
