Hi folks,

Now I've received my copy of Akoustik Piano (actually Komplete Classic) and until I get my receptor, my good old Titanium PowerBook does its best to let me enjoy the wonderful Steingraeber Upright :-)

Admittedly, my specs (1GHz G4) are below the minimum requirements, but except for inevitable 20ms latency, everything seems OK.

Everything? Well, seems there is no sympathetic string resonance (resonance from strings with keys held down while another key that shares some overtones is played). I must say that I've expected this feature from Akoustik piano. At least there is an option called "release resonance" (what's this, then?), furthermore, I remember having read about a respective script...

Can this be? Does NI Akoustic piano really have no sympathetic string resonance?

Hi,

check your version number please !

This feature is included in the update only !

you have to update the player and the library :)

Upload the update and you have 4 presets with sympathetic resonance for each Piano
and others feature....

thes presets are called " ... with_ overtones.nki"

Hi Olivier,

great, thanks a lot! Funny, that something like this can be scripted...

Hi Olivier,

For the records, I love your "overtones" presets - they are the only ones I use. :) Do you have any plans to include ½-pedaling in a future update? That would be cool.
