Kontakt 3 Compatibility with older instruments.

I plan to upgrade to a new Mac Pro soon. Stradivarius and Gofriller have become indispensable to me, JABB to a lesser extent.

Will all of these play properly in Kontakt 3? If not, is there a workable Intel Mac solution?

I am not sure if the Stradivari Solo Violin works properly in K3. The updates from K2 to K3 I believe made some changes that affected the filter control.

KP2 is Intel Mac friendly, however, and the Stradivari Solo Violin ships with it, so you shouldn't have problems there. Same for the Gofriller Cello.

Im on mac and have the Gofriller. It does NOT run right in K3, but it does in Kontakt 2. K3 has filter issues, and velocities of notes problems. No matter how quiet you play a note legato, you still get a strong attack..

Unless you want the K3 sound library (which is rather spiffing), get K2 (if its stll available...)

not tried JABB in K3 yet. I always use K2 for Garritan products.
