If you were planning to attend Ubuntu Live 2008 (http://en.oreilly.com/ubuntu2008/public/content/home) in July, we have some bad news for you: the event has been canceled.

This came as quite a surprise. We had been selected to give a presentation on music technology at this event (but had to cancel).
Not sure why the event was cancelled but will try to find out.
