I'm speaking of the folder located at C:/Program Files/Garritan/Steinway/Extra I'm just curious what this folder is? Judging by the .wav files in it, they have something to do with the pedaling, perhaps the pedal noises? I hesitate to open them because when I click things without being sure of what they are - 99% of the time I screw something up:D

Do these need to stay on my system drive, or would it be better to have them in the same location as the samples?

Thanks!

Jon

There is no performance problems having those files being left there.
They are loaded in RAM when a perspective is selected (for the most part)

Geez, the way you answer so many Steinway questions David, you'd think you had a hand in making it or something :p:D;)

Many thanks for the clarification, once again, David!
