Just got my October issue of Keyboard in the mail today...

One of this month's features is a "roundup" of the top ten piano virtual pianos. The Garritan Authorized Steinway stacked up very favorably compared to the other choices: "Players identified Garritan Steinway as a Steinway more often and more quickly than any other virtual piano..." is one of the comments in the review.

I don't own the Steinway since not much of what I write is very pianistic in nature (I just don't have the chops! :o), but I sure keep getting tempted to get it anyway by the great things I hear in the listening forum -- and now the reviews!

Congrats to Gary and the Steinway team for the positive press! )(~

Does this mean, David, that players identified you too as a Steinway?

I've been occasionally mistaken for an Armenian skunk-odor merchant,
Alan -- but never for a piano...

You know what?

I've been mistaken for a lady! and I'm 6'4"! :D Hillarious to think that I was mistaken for such.

But, indeed, never for a piano!

I have been mistaken for a person on several occasions. David, WHY can't the world see that I'm an escalator???

Snorlax, escalators don't usually play euphoniums, but people do. Thus the confusion.
