hey everyone.:)

I was looking through the main demo page on the GPO website and came across a piece i hadnt heard in a long time. It was 'Starry Night' by Darwin Kopp, a wonderful ragtime/nostalgic piece for solo piano.
In fact i was so happy to hear it again because it was that very piece that made me purchase GPO. I still remember 2-3 years ago sat at my old PC listening to this piece around Christmas time i believe.
I just wanted to say how wonderful and inspiring this piece is!!!:):)

In fact i was wondering if there was a Garritan authorised Steinway version hidden somewhere on Mr. Kopp's computer:p

Kind regards Dan;)

Hi JBD,

What a nice, unexpected comment! It's always gratifying to read of a positive response to a previous work. ;) I'd forgotten this was even in the archives.

Alas, I've not ported this nor anything else to the new Steinway. I have plans to do just that with all the older piano stuff when I get a website together some day, but for now I have too many projects going on to take the time.

Thanks again for this "blast from the past".

Regards,
Darwin

Good to hear from you!!
That sounds like a very interesting 'restoration' project;)
Hope your current projects are coming along nicely.
Looking forward to hearing your new stuff;)
