For anyone interested, this is a kind of whacky Elfmanish sort of thing I\'ve been working on using GOS pizz and sul tastos, AO, UOP, SOV boys choir, and some whacky sound effects including a small drum n bass part.
It\'s called \"Lateness of the Hour\".

Demo is at the bottom of the webpage.
Hope you enjoy! http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif

Really nice work! Surely that wasn\'t the AO solo violin was it? Sounded really nice... I liked the sfx sweeps and what not, added to the peice subtley, but definingly. Very well done.

It\'s back up again http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif. It does that sometimes http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/frown.gif.
Thanks Micheal. I used the Miroslav solo violin for that piece.

I really like \"Make a Wish\"!!

What are the sound libraries / sound patches used for this?

Great stuff.

Thanks Robert http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif. I used the KongWong patch off of Heart of Asia for the marimba like sound and alot of other sounds off Heart of Asia (tablas, situr, fingercyms) along with the gigapiano, Zimmer lap steel, xsample rhodes, and distorted reality 2.

Thanks for listening Chris. I need to get your email address again. I can\'t seem to find it. If you have mine, can you email me when you have some free time? http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif

Nice instruments sit in the mixed. I like it!
Even Just a bit \"tiny on strings\"...

Great work Damon, tasteful and restrained.

The high strings still aren\'t there, but that isn\'t your fault. I\'ve never heard SOV Boys Choir sound so good, if that\'s all it was. Those samples sound very synthy to me normally.

What glock was that? Or was it a glock sample?

And super triangle.

Any, great work as always Damon.

Thanks Tom and LHong for listening and the kind words http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif.

Tom, the glock and triangle are from UOP. I love the sound of them as well. Great library.
I also used the Xsample celesta.
I EQ\'d the SOV boys choir Ooos and took some of the highs away to get rid of that \"hissy\" sound.

UOP is Ultimate Orchestral Percussion from DsSoundWare (Donnie\'s company). You will also read about LOP on this forum, which is London Orchestral Percussion, also from DsSoundware. http://www.dssoundware.com (\"http://www.dssoundware.com\")
