I don't see any way to increase or decrease the volume of the Garritan Steinway in the Aria Player as one can change the volume in the K2 player.

Have I over looked something or is the volume set and not adjustable.

Thanks for the info Jon.(jjloving)

I can see how it increases volume if you are using ambience but it doesn't raise it above the dry piano volume.

The problem with this is trying to get a decent mix in midi if the piano is too quiet compared to the other instruments.

You can lower the volume on all instruments and raise the audio output level of your DAW but this could cause some problems.

Maybe it would be good to have a volume controller in the Aria player for midi work. Before rendering it to audio you could turn down the piano volume and once in audio you can increase the piano's amplitude to match the other instruments.

I completely agree, as do a number of others. This is something that's been requested in the "Steinway Wish List" so we'll see what comes of it.

I personally don't use the Ambience reverb very often unless running in standalone, so slamming the Dry fader up works pretty well. When I bounce/record I may increase the input level on the associated audio track as well - so when it comes time to mix I can apply any volume changes/automation without worrying the Piano will be inaudible.
