Hi,
I think that GPO4 is overdue.
It is long after NAMM already. :(
Short was like the Tuesday after.. Isn't Gary already back home on Orca Island and can put the files up for download?
Can't wait any more..... ;)
Or do we have to think more in cosmological cycles..

I'm still visiting several times each day, face pressed up against the window of the candy store. Hope the full version, even at 2GBs, will be downloadable!

"They also serve those who wait."
"Patience is a virtue."
---it can hardly be said to be LOOOOONG after NAMM.
I eagerly await along with everyone.

NAMM breakdown was ten days ago. I'm, not on Orcas Island but am at Skywalker Studios in California on a project. I'll post more about that soon. We're still a few weeks away for the GPO update.
Until then assume lotus position, close eyes and chant "GPO...GPO...GPO":p:)

Way cool!!! I'm trying to picture you, Gary, with a light saber! You've got to be careful, though:

Hmmm. New sample library from the SW Cantina? Interesting.

This is one of those rare cases where I believe I
can explain this with greater eloquence than our
own Golden-Tongued Garritan:

As you can plainly see in the formulae above, the
length of contraction, L', is fundamental to the
calculation of time dilation, t'.
Given this, the interval of time (which becomes
noticeable exactly three days after NAMM) until
GPO ARIA is released can be calculated quite
precisely if one simply inserts the appropriate
value in B (beta).
Chicken entrails may also lend further insight.

David

Dr. etLux,
Billiant calculations my dear etLux. We will provide these formulae to all those who inquire as to release dates. This will help immeasurably.
With deepest gratitude,
Gary

I happen to be on a train that is traveling faster than the speed of light and I can tell you
the update is quite nice.... GOS2 is also fantastic.

"But why would you want to use my entrails?!? I mean, I even didn't do anything! I was just minding my own business, kicking back with the hens in the red light district when this crazy farmer's wife came running after me with a meat cleaver. Man, I was sure I was a goner! If she hadn't tripped on her bottom lip and fell into that vat of leftover snail sludge from last night's party I'm sure I'd be someone's dinner!"

Skywalker studios?! Anyone know if that place is famous for anything?! (I DONT mean films etc, cos obviously it is). Do they have a particularly valuable or rare collection of instruments there worthy of a Garritan sample library?

Skywalker Studios has an extraordinary collection of caged
North American wild fowl -- including the extremely rare
and endangered California Yodeling Turkey Hawk.
Need I say more...?

A playable sound effects library perhaps (whatever that means)?
