Dear Felix:
I don't know whether or not you can hear me . . . the jury's still out on that one . . . but please know that I can still hear you!
Your music often delights me. It sometimes challenges me. It always pleases me.
I'm particularly enamored of your violin works, as I began as a violinist. Still, even though my keyboard work leaves a lot to be desired, I greatly admire your works for piano. If you were still with us today I would heartily recommend the Garritan Steinway, as I know you would do it justice.
Again, Happy Birthday!0-||
Joe
EDIT: A bit premature - The local orchestra performed some of his works in honor of his birthday. They announced that they were celebrating his birthday by the performance, and said that it was his 200th birthday. I'm sorry for the confusion. February 3, 1809 . . . so it's this coming Tuesday.:mad:
