I promised I'd give my copy of GOS to the forum member who submitted the best string composition. We now have three entries. Please take time to listen to them, and indicate which you think should win. I don't think I can add a poll, so if you could simply attach your vote as a reply in this thread.

These are all outstanding compositions, again a tribute to the quality of musicians who contribute to this forum on a regular basis. I can understand how it would be difficult to choose one over the other two. However, that's not what you have asked us to do.

I think my choice would be the submission by RobH. My choice is based on his ability to emotionally construct a musical piece which draws upon the emotions referenced in the title of his composition. It seems totally complete from both a musical standpoint and from an emotional standpoint.

Again, they are all excellent and each could be chosen for different reasons.

Pingu, in order to get votes, and honest ones, there must be a pole.
